Refund policy

All Purchases (In-Store & Online)
  • Items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase (in-store) or delivery (online).

  • Receipt or proof of purchase is required.

  • Clothing must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and with tags attached.

  • Other items must be unused and in original condition (including candles, pantry items, grooming, and beauty products).

  • Returns without proof of purchase are eligible for store credit only.

  • Final Sale: Sale items, books, and gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged.

Non-Returnable Items
  • Books

  • Opened or used personal care items (beauty, grooming, etc.)

  • Perishable goods or pantry items

  • Custom products

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Sale items and gift cards

Refunds & Exchanges
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval.

  • For online returns, email orders@cityandstate.us to request a prepaid return label and instructions.

  • For exchanges, the fastest option is to return the item and make a new purchase.

  • Store credit is issued on a gift card.
